Having “something” personalized so that is yours and only yours is a luxury in our home. Welcome to the world of twins…where everything is “you and your sister can share, right?gift_salena-lim“.

Seriously, we just finished Christmas and I can not tell you the number of gifts the twins were told that they needed to “share”. Now, I am all for sharing and teaching children to be kind and gracious…but when you are a twin…especially an identical twin…sometimes you need things that are just your own.

I believe that is why we fell in love with the Personalized Clips from No Slippy Hair Clippy. We received a very pretty brown and pink clip for Skylar personalized with “S” and a pink and green for Rylan personalized with  “R”. My girls were thrilled! “This one is mine” they each proclaimed as they put them in their hair.monogram-spk-wht

I have noticed that they wear them a lot..even when they don’t match their outfits. Why? Well, when they are asked “Which one are you?” as they are asked on a daily basis…they just point to their barrette.

I know that I may have an extreme case of identity desire with my girls but any little girl that has a girl sibling…has to know the feeling. Sometimes you just want something to be yours, all yours!

The Personalized Clips from No Slippy Hair Clippy helps  your little girl feel unique, special and gives her something that is hers and only hers. Plus they are created with a wonderful velvet cover that allows them to go on smoothly and easily. No tangles, no pulled hair…E-Z to put on and take off.gift_salena-spk

No Slippy Hair Clippy has dozens of styles to choose from including a wonderful bow of the month feature. They carry styles for babies and big girls, like my twins.

Looking for style? Looking for quality? Looking for selection? Then go visit No Slippy Hair Clippy and tell them the IE Mommy sent you!

new year 2010

Can you believe that when you wake up tomorrow it will be 2010!!!
Remember the hoopla of Y2K?

Yikes! I do! Every one was sure that the world was going to end…yet here we are starting the end of the 1st decade…amazing!

I thought it would be fun to look back on 2009 and revisit some of favorite reviews, photographs, features and articles.

During this year…I have created and posted over 2000 articles and today I gave myself the task of narrowing down my favorites. I am sure your favorites may be different but for various reasons…these are my favorites from 2009! I did not have the energy or the heart to put them in any particular order. They are randomly listed.

I have had the honor and privilege to work with some of the greatest companies, PR firms, literary publicists, publishing houses, social media forums and sales personal that exist. I am deeply grateful for a fantastic year for the IE Mommy.

So….”CHEERS and Thanks” to everyone….you guys ROCK!

Happy 2010!!

No Slippy Hair Clippy Headbands

The Holidays are here and for most little girls that means beautiful, big fancy headbands_organicpetalsdresses.

In our family…my side has always had the tradition of dressing up for Christmas Eve…of course, as we have gotten older we have laxed a bit but the children are always dressed to the nines. It is just so cute to see little girls in big, fluffy, fancy dresses.  My girls LOVE dressing up. Now that they are getting older they actually want to go into the dressing room and try everything on! Which is fun for the first 20 minutes or so, lol.

Once you find the dress, you need the shoes, the tights, the little purse and something “gorgeous” for their hair, right?

No Slippy Hair Clippy has the perfect thing for little princesses’ like mine…the No Slippy Headband!! My twins received the gorgeous Organic Petals 5″ flower headbands in Pink and Shocking Pink and the Large Sheer Petal Flower headbands in Pink and White! Both are equally stunning, beautiful and well crafted. flowergirl

There are two amazing dynamics when it comes to the No Slippy Headbands. One, they are beautiful. You can feel and see the quality of ribbon, flowers and headbands that are used to create the No Slippy Headband and two, they are completely versatile. While your little princess may not dress in a big, fluffy party dress everyday…she can still feel like royalty while wearing a No Slippy Headband. In fact, moms…they do wonders to dress up a plain t-shirt and jeans. Think school day pictures or functions where you want your little one to look put together not put out.

We have three Christmas events to attend with family this year, two Christmas parties, one holiday celebration, caroling and a gift wrapping demo…I think No Slippy Hair Clippy Headbands are going to make getting my girls dressed and ready to go…just a bit easier this year!

A Little About No Slippy Hair Clippy:

ONCE UPON A TIME, there was a baby girl with a beautiful face, whose wispy blonde locks had just begun to appear. Her mommy sought a stylish hair accessory that would securely hold her baby-fine hair, as well as look cute and be safe for her to wear. Pinch clips were small, but they would not stay in such soft hair.

After fruitless attempts and countless shopping fiascoes, her mommy was stumped. One day she wondered, “What if the clips were lined with velvet ribbon?” This worked wonderfully, since the velvet created more friction, thus holding the hair gently, yet securely. To make it even more snug, she added a magnet under the velvet lining. This made it soft and secure. So the beautiful baby girl with the blonde locks inspired her mommy to create a one-of-a-kind hair accessory and a whole new company, No Slippy Hair Clippy®.

No Slip Hair Accessories® are a No Slippy Hair Clippy® specialty. They differentiate themselves from the competition by using unique designs and color combinations, as well as mirroring current trends in the fashion industry. They are the first and best of their kind in the entire world.

…and they lived happily ever after!

divider3

What Does the IE Mommy Think?:

Don’t you just love a happy ending? I know that I do. I crave happy endings! Which is one of the reason I have fallen in love with the No Slippy Hair Clippy.fun_yolanda-wht-che

Yes, my little ones don’t soft baby wisps of hair but they do have short, unruly bangs that are attempting to grow out. Bangs that are too short to pull back into a pony tail or headband and to long to leave down…unless you liked the “sheep dog” look…which we do not.

I will tell you what has created my “happily ever after” …gorgeous hair clips from No Slippy Hair Clippy!

My girls are at a fun age. They have a lot of character and personality yet they still want to be mama’s girls and love to wear bows, clips and headbands…but those bangs could drive you crazy.

fun_animals-lad-antWhen I first discovered that the No Slippy Hair Clippy had a tiny little magnet that helped to keep the hair in place. I was ecstatic.  I mean a magnet? Really? I mean it’s an ingenious idea but would it work?

Yes! It worked!

Believe me when I say that if it will stay put on my girls it will stay put on yours. While my girls may look all sweet and frilly on the outside…they are tree climbers, bug hunters and dirt makers on the inside.novelty_brenda-wht

But No Slippy Hair Clippy passed the test with flying colors. No more am I asking “Where’s the other clip?” and no more bangs falling in my sweet little twin faces.

The moral of the happy ending? Whether you have a sweet little innocent baby girl or a rough-n-tumble 1st graders like I do…the No Slippy Hair Clippy will be just perfect for your little Princess and will give you the “Happily Ever After” you desire.
