What Does The IE Mommy Think?:

I know this doesn’t make a lot of sense considering that I have very limited cooking skills…but I love cookbooks! I really and truly do. I can sit for hours browsing through cookbooks…mouth drooling…especially if they have beautifully illustrated photos.

In fact…I just don’t understand what the point is of a cookbook without pictures? How do I know if I created the dish correctly if I am not able to see what it is supposed to look like in the first place! Anyone with me?

“A Century of Flavors” cookbook is beautiful executed. Great recipes, easy to follow directions, great pictures and overall wonderful presentation. It would make a wonderful gift to give this Christmas season. Each recipe is clearly detailed with the directions and necessary ingredients.

“A Century of Flavors” cookbook is a great asset to any kitchen. Whether you are a challenged cook like myself or a Master of the Culinary Arts you are going to fall in love with the book and the delicious recipes. A cute little aspect in the cookbook is the little tidbits of Vanilla trivia. Great little tidbits to challenge your guests with during dinner.

It may take me a while to get through the entire cookbook but I already have my personal favorites. Delicious yummies like the Vanilla Carmel Corn Crunch and Vanilla Apple Pudding will leave your mouth watering. In fact, I plan on cooking the Vanilla Apple Pudding tonight. But shhh! don’t tell my husband…I want to surprise him.

Keep the secret about what I am cooking tonight but don’t keep the secret about “A Century of Flavors Cookbook” something this delicious has to be shared with everyone!
