When the Dove Men + Care package arrived I was excited to share it with the IE Daddy. My husband didn’t seem to share my enthusiasm (at first). When I think of Tupperware I think of quality, durability , reliability but I really don’t ever of makeup.  I will be forever changed.

Before I had children I had long, well-manicured nails. They weren’t fake but looked nice because it was my job to interact with other people. I wanted to have a “polished” look (no pun intended). I have forever wanted to try the “Black” nail polish trend that is so popular right now but as a mom…I thought it might be a bit of overkill for me. This beautiful, rich purple color from the Winter ‘10 collection is the perfect compromise.

The picture you see to the right are my nails after three days of wear.  I don’t wear glvoes to clean or do dishes. My nails were photographed after three days of being “mom”. Don’t they look great!!

Generally after three days my nails are severely chipped. Paint is missing and they look terrible…which is discouraging.  Why bother if I have to do it over and over again? My husband loves when my nails are painted…in fact…he bought me a new ring because my fingers looked so pretty!

Lol…now I can’t promise you your husband will do the same but it worked for me!

My hands and feet looked and felt extra special…thanks to the petite samples of Shea Butter Body Lotion and the Heels and Elbow Cream I received. Heaven in a bottle! The Shea Butter was rich, yummy smelling, not too greasy and worked! My skin felt silky smooth. The Heel and Elbow creamed turned into a wonderful, sensuous baby powder feel once applied. We have all seen them, right? The TV infomercials that draw you in and urge to buy it now. They offer wonderful remedies and amazing results. But! Do they work?

I was invited to try quite a few of the “As Seen On TV” type products and discovered a few that were really great inventions . I was happily surprised.

One of the great products that I was able to review was the Heel-Tastic. What’s the concept? An easy to use, non-invasive and highly effective roll-on application (similar to a deodorant stick) that will enable you to have smoother, softer feet quickly and easily. Simply roll the Heel-Tastic on our rough skin (elbows or heels) and the ingredients will penetrate deeply into your skin leaving you with fresh, soft, touchable elbows and heels.

The Heel-Tastic worked better then I had expected and did leave my feet with softer, silkier skin but unfortunately the softness did not last a long time.  I tried it for a couple of weeks applying it night and in the morning I did have beautiful soft heels but by the night time they were slightly rough again.  Now, I have slightly rough heels they are not cracked or bleeding so I was happy with the results each morning.

Heel-Tastic would be a great part of my makeup case when on vacation or on a retreat. The only thing that I was not a fan of was the unusual scent. It wasn’t unpleasant but it did have a medicine scent to it that lingered just a bit longer then I would have liked. Once I showered in the morning…it was gone and my feet were still soft.
