Puristics Daily Anti-Aging Sunscreen Lotion (SPF 15) is my new-favorite, daily face lotion (and I am very picky on facial products). This sunscreen lotion is non-greasy and it feels wonderful on my face. The lotion absorbs quickly into my skin and leaves it feeling soft and moisturized.

It doesn’t leave that sunscreen-residue feeling on my face or fingertips like most regular sunscreens do. I usually have to wash my hands after applying sunscreen, but after applying Puristics Sunscreen Lotion, the rest of the lotion just absorbed into my hands.

Since I am very ingredient conscious, I am very pleased that Puristics products are fragrance free and contain no parabens, phthalates, or sulfates. Their products are free from harsh chemicals and they also are not tested on animals (that makes the animal lover in me happy).

This Sunscreen Lotion (SPF 15) comes in a small, easy-to-use pump with a lid, so I can throw it in my purse to reapply while I am on-the-go. The directions recommend reapplying at least every 2 hours.

I am so glad to be armed with this gentle yet powerful lotion as I enter into summertime. I have very fair skin and find that I sunburn easily. Puristics Sunscreen Lotion is definitely going to be my new summertime best friend.

Face cream and I aren’t very good friends. It has been a long road to find anything that doesn’t irritate my skin and make it itch so horribly that I throw it away and have just wasted a ton of money. I have recently been in the market to find a new cream that works well enough in the summer when my skin is extra dry. I had the pleasure to review Puristics Advanced Skin Rejuvenating Lotion. It states, “Non-irritating, even on sensitive skin.” They are telling the truth. After two days in, no irritation and it feels lightweight on my skin.

I really like the way the label puts the ingredients into words that the average person can understand. It also does not have any harmful chemicals or fragrance, which I love for a face cream. The pump makes it easy to use only what you need and get your monies worth on each bottle.

Puristics Advanced Skin Rejuvenating Lotion is not greasy, which is also a plus. I have recently began using products that are more natural and with no fragrance because if the off chance that I have to use it on my son I can. I would definitely use this product on my son. As far as reducing wrinkles and fine lines, I cannot report on that factor, as the time frame to review did not make it feasible.

The only downfall that I see with this product is that it is a bit on the pricey side for my budget. But in comparison to other holistic or natural products it is within the same price range.  Puristics Advanced Skin Rejuvenating Lotion is a great product that I will try my hardest to fit into my budget. Love the lightweight cream with no harmful chemicals and non-greasy! Great product Puristics.

Judith August, creator of the Everything Pencil says, “We all have something to hide.” For me, this is just the case. I have an ugly scar on my forearm that for years I only wore long sleeves to cover it and then I moved on to short sleeve but would always turn my arm. In the past I have tried remedies to cover up this area that I have grown to just live with.

The Everything Pencil comes in six different shades for everyone. Judith goes on to tell us they cover up just about everything from skin blemishes, tattoos, spider veins to scars. This little pencil comes with it’s own sharpener and doesn’t take up much room which is great for traveling.

Pure Beige matched my skin perfectly.  Just with all beauty products…I am skeptical, because I have had skin allergies in the past, but this product didn’t irritate my skin at all.  So now was the time to test the product. I decided I was going to try it first on my scar and then on my dark circles that don’t even go away with plenty of sleep.

The first test of my scar, I was so amazed to see the scar almost disappear before my eyes. I didn’t feel like I even had anything on my arm, which was also a plus. Then it was time to test the lovely problem of dark circles that have seen many. Much to my surprise my dark circles had disappeared as well. This product is a hit and I will continue to use it. I think I may also get a few other shades for a few other items on my list.

My Thoughts

Wow! I had such quick results from using Whitening Lightning’s Professional Home Teeth Whitening System. With just one 20-minute treatment, my teeth lightened a complete shade and I can definitely tell that my teeth look brighter and whiter. I still have 2 more treatments that I can use in the future, whether I want to lighten my teeth by another shade now or later.

The System comes in a small kit containing 3 treatments worth of supplies. This includes a paper shade dial to help you determine your starting teeth shade, a gel syringe with the 3 treatments worth of whitening gel and dispensing tub, a handheld LED light, 3 teeth wipes for drying the teeth before treatment, an applicator brush to paint the gel on your teeth, 3 vitamin E swabs to rub on your gums and lips pretreatment (to protect them from temporary lightening), and a direction sheet.

The teeth dial was a great way to assess my results and see how much my teeth had really lightened. I was a 3 on the dial pretreatment, but after 20 minutes I was up to a 2. The dial itself has 16 different shades. I was surprised that teeth could get so yellowed.

If I had known years ago that I could lighten my teeth at home so easily, I would have done it long ago. I just always pictured teeth whitening to be an expensive, long drawn-out process. I’m glad I was wrong.

The included directions in the kit were detailed, but they did leave out a few important elements that would have made the treatment smoother for me. I was a little confused about the vitamin E swabs and why there were 2 different sides, what breaking off one side meant, and which side I was supposed to use, as well as what to do post-treatment with the gel on my teeth. I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to rinse my mouth with water or just leave the gel residue on my teeth. I did peruse the diagram directions on Whitening Lightning’s website though, and it stated on those directions to brush off the gel.

Other than a few ambiguous things in the directions, this teeth whitening treatment was a breeze. I’m already thinking about when to do my next treatment, because of course I now want my teeth to be the lightest shade on the dial.

My entire family has enjoyed using Waxelene, since I received it to review. I knew right away a few dry skin areas that I would target with it, so I proceeded to experiment with it and see how much it helped.

First, I used Waxelene on my daughter’s face. Her lips had been so chapped for weeks that she had a red line underneath her bottom lip from licking her lips. It almost looked like someone had drawn a red line above her chin. I was determined to get it all healed up so that she could just maintain the dry weathered effects with a lip balm.

Waxelene worked fast. I applied it to her lips and the underneath area while she was sleeping, so that she didn’t feel uncomfortable with having something on her face. When she awoke the next morning, I could tell that the red line was fading. After a few nights, it was completely gone. I am thankful that it worked so quickly.

Next, my hubby tried it on his dry feet at night. He applied it all over his feet and then slept with socks on, so that they would stay moisturized at night. In the mornings after using it, he could tell a difference in the softness of his feet.

I have also used Waxelene as a lip balm. I love the way it smells lightly of honey because of the beeswax in its ingredients; yet the smell isn’t overpowering. I am sensitive to perfumes and other strong smells but Waxelene is gentle on my senses. Waxelene is also safer than a petroleum jelly product, as well as being more tolerable on my skin. It is smooth without the slimy feeling of a petroleum jelly.

I also appreciate Waxelene’s 2oz jar. I am able to apply it liberally on my skin without being concerned that I will use the entire tube or disc (like other products) in one setting.
