Ever go somewhere and you just didn’t feel like dragging your “big” everyday purse along with you? I have! Often! As a mom of two we are constantly on the go and while there are many occasions where my huge purse is a necessity I have equally as many occasions where I need to keep my hands free and my possessions close.

Personally I think that a purse can make or break your outfit and you appearance. You need a purse with versatility and style. You need a company that will offer a variety of styles, colors and patterns to fit your every outfit and your every situation. Which is one of the reasons why I am a big fan of the sak and sakroots. I know most women, myself included, have that one bff pair of jeans that they wish they could wear every day: the pair of jeans that fits every curve perfectly and still manages to remain flattering and comfortable. I have a couple pairs like that, including a pair of Baby Phat women’s jeans. They are beyond comfortable and look super cute too.

But I usually try and persuade my daughters not to wear an outfit multiple days in a row. They have SO many cute clothes. Why wear the same outfit, no matter how enamored they are with it?

However, as soon as my 8-year-old daughter tried on her new Baby Phat Girlz Gray-scale Shorts, that theory flew out the door. I immediately told her, “You should wear them to school tomorrow. They are adorable!” (I actually wouldn’t mind if she wore these shorts a few days in a row. They are just THAT cute.)

These gray-scale, animal print shorts are adorned with a trendy built-in sash/ belt (which my daughter needed), multiple embroidered designs (on the front and back pockets), and they are embellished with silver sequins along the gray embroidery. I thought the embroidered Baby Phat Cat on the back pocket, with sequins along the length of its tail, was a nice, classy touch.

I appreciate clothes that enhance my daughters’ beauty with both class and comfort. My daughters are beautiful just as they are and I am constantly on the lookout for brands that are age-appropriate yet trendy, clothes that enhance instead of revealing too much.

My Thoughts

I have a lot of nieces. Girls seem to run in our family with an occasional boy thrown in for good measure. My nieces are the following ages: 35, 35, 32, 24, 21, 14, 6 and 4. Whew!! Just writing that showed me I have a lot of nieces to shop for.

With Christmas right around the corner and I was kind of stumped as to what to get each one of them. I don’t want to run around from store to store trying to find the right sizes or styles…I just want to find a place where I can do one stop shopping and be done with it.

Looks like I found it! Girl Extraordinaire is a trendy and fun website that offers all things extraordinary. T-shirts, tote bags, shoes, jackets….and so much more. Check out the gorgeous display of samples that were sent for review. Love them.

I am sucker for sparkles, glitter and bling….Girls Extraordinaire has it all. Don’t you just love the shirts, tank tops and hoodie!? The entire site is about being extraordinary and how every women can be and should be. Another special feature of the site is the wonderfully wonderful co-owner Courtney Noelle…you won’t a sweeter person if you looked everywhere! She’s a great business owner, artist and entrepreneur.

As I sit and look at my list of names on my Christmas list…it is obvious that I am able to cross them all off just by visiting Girl Extraordinaire. As much as I love each of my beautiful nieces…only the best will do for them. Of course, that’s Girl Extraordinaire…hope you’ll join me there!
