Some of you are blessed to be thin. You are the ones that can have a million kids and still look fantastic… or perhaps you are an avid runner and love to exercise…either way. Good for you!!! I applaud you and am secretly (or not so secretly) super jealous!!

The rest of you are like me. You have a little too much in the “tummy” area to comfortably wear low-rise or skinny jeans. Ok, I will admit… I have a LOT too much in the tummy area. To further worsen matters…I have very skinny legs.  Skinny jeans generally look pretty good on my skinny legs because they fit and don’t just hang on me…but it is hard to breathe, if you get my drift!

The last time I remember looking good in a swimsuit was when Cyndi Lauper and Madonna were battling out for the #1 spot on the charts!  I am sure that sometime between then and now I have looked good in a swimsuit but once I became an adult…life consisted of a bit more then just lounging by the pool side.

When Motherhood hit…bikinis and sexy bathing suits were a definitely thing of the past. I opted instead for the “mom swimsuit”. I am sure you know it. You may even have it in your drawer. If you do…then please read this review with excitement and anticipation!

The “Mom Swimsuit”:

• basic black (maybe navy blue or dark brown)

• nothing low cut because you might have an “oops” moment when chasing the kids.

Tell me those stats don’t include you? I know they include me and that is so sad! Each summer my twins and I take swimming lessons. Each summer they get a few adorable new suits and I stick with my tried and true (but ugly and boring) two suits that I have had since God created the world!

I was sooooo nervous to receive my suit. When it arrived… I was like a kid in a candy shop. I immediately ran upstairs and tried it on. OH MY GOODNESS!! Instant love.  The shirring at the waist provided a more cinched in look at my waist. Making it appear thinner.
