My Thoughts

Tweezerman products are always worth the price and I have never been disappointed once. I have several of there products and when I was able to review a pair of mini slant tweezers, I was ecstatic. These compact tweezers in purple with teal diamonds were adorable and I can’t wait to try them out. When I first looked over them, I realized that the plastic case they come in is much stronger and durable than the larger tweezers.

These mini tweezers are perfect for a makeup bag, travel or even to carry in your purse for those on the go situations. However, they do the job just as well as the larger Tweezerman tweezers. Don’t let size fool you; they pull out all stubborn hairs and even the short ones that you sometimes just give up on and leave to waxing. They grip perfectly, but I think if you have large hands they may difficult for you to maneuver.

$15 is definitely the right price for these fabulous tweezers. Tweezerman also offers free lifetime sharpening, which is so worth it!

My Thoughts

Growing up, I had clear skin. I never had to worry about acne or breakouts, and was thankful to use a cheap cleanser on my face. I have used the same cleanser now for years, but as I grow older, my skin is starting to change. I use a make-up remover, a cleanser, and a moisturizer, but the breakouts continue to make their way onto my face. It’s not fun, and it definitely isn’t pretty. When asked if I would like to try the, “Everything Pencil EraseZit” I was excited. I had just had another batch of breakouts and knew I could really use a great product. I was a little weary because I’ve never changed what I use on my face, but my skin needed help.

The “Everything Pencil EraseZit” is amazing! I was able to use it and camouflage my zits. You simply pat it on, blend the outer edges, and presto! My zits are hidden! The pencil is water resistant, allergy tested, calms and helps blemishes and acne, and is convenient enough to carry in your pocket or purse. This pencil would be extremely helpful on pictures days for both adults and teens. You wouldn’t have to worry about trying to cover the zits up with powder or foundation. You can apply this pencil, then use foundation to smooth out your face. What a great thing to keep handy!

It never fails, my boys always seem to fall and get hurt right before picture day. They end up with scratches, bruises or scrapes. I plan on keeping this handy for their special pictures as well. It is created for men, woman, boys and girls. I’m so happy I finally found something that works on my skin!

Judith August, creator of the Everything Pencil says, “We all have something to hide.” For me, this is just the case. I have an ugly scar on my forearm that for years I only wore long sleeves to cover it and then I moved on to short sleeve but would always turn my arm. In the past I have tried remedies to cover up this area that I have grown to just live with.

The Everything Pencil comes in six different shades for everyone. Judith goes on to tell us they cover up just about everything from skin blemishes, tattoos, spider veins to scars. This little pencil comes with it’s own sharpener and doesn’t take up much room which is great for traveling.

Pure Beige matched my skin perfectly.  Just with all beauty products…I am skeptical, because I have had skin allergies in the past, but this product didn’t irritate my skin at all.  So now was the time to test the product. I decided I was going to try it first on my scar and then on my dark circles that don’t even go away with plenty of sleep.

The first test of my scar, I was so amazed to see the scar almost disappear before my eyes. I didn’t feel like I even had anything on my arm, which was also a plus. Then it was time to test the lovely problem of dark circles that have seen many. Much to my surprise my dark circles had disappeared as well. This product is a hit and I will continue to use it. I think I may also get a few other shades for a few other items on my list.

My Thoughts

Wow! I had such quick results from using Whitening Lightning’s Professional Home Teeth Whitening System. With just one 20-minute treatment, my teeth lightened a complete shade and I can definitely tell that my teeth look brighter and whiter. I still have 2 more treatments that I can use in the future, whether I want to lighten my teeth by another shade now or later.

The System comes in a small kit containing 3 treatments worth of supplies. This includes a paper shade dial to help you determine your starting teeth shade, a gel syringe with the 3 treatments worth of whitening gel and dispensing tub, a handheld LED light, 3 teeth wipes for drying the teeth before treatment, an applicator brush to paint the gel on your teeth, 3 vitamin E swabs to rub on your gums and lips pretreatment (to protect them from temporary lightening), and a direction sheet.

The teeth dial was a great way to assess my results and see how much my teeth had really lightened. I was a 3 on the dial pretreatment, but after 20 minutes I was up to a 2. The dial itself has 16 different shades. I was surprised that teeth could get so yellowed.

If I had known years ago that I could lighten my teeth at home so easily, I would have done it long ago. I just always pictured teeth whitening to be an expensive, long drawn-out process. I’m glad I was wrong.

The included directions in the kit were detailed, but they did leave out a few important elements that would have made the treatment smoother for me. I was a little confused about the vitamin E swabs and why there were 2 different sides, what breaking off one side meant, and which side I was supposed to use, as well as what to do post-treatment with the gel on my teeth. I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to rinse my mouth with water or just leave the gel residue on my teeth. I did peruse the diagram directions on Whitening Lightning’s website though, and it stated on those directions to brush off the gel.

Other than a few ambiguous things in the directions, this teeth whitening treatment was a breeze. I’m already thinking about when to do my next treatment, because of course I now want my teeth to be the lightest shade on the dial.

My Thoughts
