Why do I love jewelry so much? Are you kidding me? What is there not to love about jewelry!

Let me explain!

I was honored to be offered a review from LuShae and chose the sensational Patriot Ring! Gorgeous! I was a bit leery when I opened the box…not sure what to expect…but was blown away by the beautiful ring that sat before me.  The Patriot Ring is a glorious tribute to our American flag. Created in a High Lustre Rhodium with clear crystals that accent the blue and red enamel that represents the stars and stripes.

I normally wear an 8 but chose to go a size bigger because the ring is generous in width (almost 1/2″) and when you have a wider ring you sometimes need to go larger in size. It fit perfectly. I have received so many wonderful compliments, “oohs and ahhs” over my ring. It is unique. I love that it is something that won’t be found at every jewelry store. I have been called a “glitz” girl, a “foo-foo” girl, “preppy” and “prissy” too! All wrong! Believe me…all wrong. While I will never deny that I love and enjoy fashion…it is not be all end all of life.

I received a breathtaking Sagy Light Green Swarovski Crsystal pendent and earring set. My breath stopped short when I opened the package. To say I was delighted would be an understatement.

As you can see in the picture the play on textures between the crystal and Sterling Silver chain are an indication of a designer with a keen eye and a delicate hand.

A Little About South Paw Studios:

Growing up in a home with both artistic and creative parents, it was a given that it was in my blood to become an artist. I have dabbled in everything from ceramics, batiking and silk dying, to watercolor, sewing and photography, but it was jewelry design where I found a good niche.
It all started when my father, a glass blower and business owner, gave me a book on jewelry design. I started crafting little treasures for my friends and family, then at the ripe age of 17 my opportunity came. A friend of mine had on a piece of jewelry that I made for her and strolled into a little shop. The owner loved what she was wearing and inquired where she got it. Not too long after that, I Placed my jewelry in that boutique and things started to sell. It was then that I knew I was onto something and I ran my jewelry to every little boutique that would talk to me…

As a mom I don’t think there is any topic that I would rather talk about, brag about or share about then my family. My twins and my husband…they are everything to me. I think a lot of moms and grandmothers feel the exact same way.
