In life there are two things that have never really won me over. Guys with brown eyes and wheat bread. Ok, I have no idea why I am lumping the two together except that is what came to mind. While I still am not drawn to brown eyes…yes, I have very dark brown eyes but that’s not the point!

I have changed my mind about Wheat bread. I have had the opportunity to try quite a few different variations, thanks to Arnold / Oroweat breads and my wonderful PR friend and have found myself searching out the supermarket for Wheat bread. Really? Who would have thought?

When I was a little girl…dried fruit tasted like cardboard. It didn’t matter what flavor it tasted like cardboard. Plain and simple!  I was scarred for life.  No way did I want to ever give my kids’ “dried fruit”.  Well, as luck would have it my husband LOVES dried fruit…so much he has a food dehydrator!

These are delicious!

I have a feeling my family was  very hungry when they arrived because they were literally gone in about 10 minutes. We opened all of them, split them in four and shared. They were so good! Hands down our favorite was the Almond and Coconut! Our least favorite? The Nut Delight...a bit too much nut and not enough delight. But the Almond and Coconut…oh wow!! I want more!

It has been a very long time since I have had a snack in the house that we all agreed on.  FruitziO was definitely a hit in our home. We received four great flavors to test and we loved them all. The ultimate favorite was the Apples and Strawberries…followed closely by the Peach. Yummy!

I may not be much of a cook…but I can make wonderful pancakes and I enjoy baking. I was delighted to find a box on my front porch from Nordic Ware.

Nordic Ware is a leading name in bake ware and bundt pans in particular.  In fact…if you visit there website you will find delicious recipes on how to make the “Perfect” bundt cake.

I received two great items for review. The first is a Pancake Pan.  Created to provide adorable silver dollar-sized pancakes embossed with different shapes. My girls really enjoyed the uniqueness and fun with the Pancake Pan.  My only suggestion to you is to use a 2-pronged fork or other like item to flip your pancakes. The pan is too shallow to use a regular spatula…which I learned the hard way.  The Pancake Pan is a great way to get those picky eaters to dig into their breakfast.

My second item was a mini muffin pan which we fell in love with. What a fantastic idea for church functions, family get together or those never ending potluck dinners!  You can create a large batch, decorate and create another batch just as quickly.  The pan is made from durable cast aluminum and coated with premium nonstick to ensure easy release.

My mind swirled with all the wonderful ideas that you could discover with the Mini Muffin pans. Mother’s Day, Easter, Valentine’s … the list is never ending.
