Every year both sides of the family come together to celebrate one of our favorite family holidays…Thanksgiving.
You’d think I’d get a little tired of hosting the event year after year but I really don’t. I love sharing this time with family and enjoy making my home a welcoming and inviting place.

Whether you are into Goblins and Ghosts or would rather decorate with fall leaves, scare crows and bales of hay…it’s that time of year when the Holidays begin! The party always starts off with Halloween or Hallelujah Night for our family.

Now that my girls are eight…I can pretty much bring out the decorations, grab a cup of tea and let them go at it. They love to decorate…they enjoy looking at each and every item and finding just the perfect spot to place it.

We don’t really celebrate Halloween too much in our home…but we definitely love fall decorations so the twins were thrilled to find a box of fall and Halloween decorations waiting for us on our front porch compliments of Target. Don’t ya just love Target? I do!! I think they may know me by name at our local store…as it seems like I am always there!

Target is your one-stop-shop for everything store. Whether you need supplies for your Halloween party or a costume for Fido, Target has it all.

Since we received a few “scary” things we decided to share our goodies with our review crew member, Michele. But as for the other items….well, you can see by the looks on my girls faces…THEY LOVED THEM!

We  had a great laugh when we found this adorable (not scary) Witchy cooking apron. I don’t think anyone can get scared of this. Hilarious!! Those stocking feet are silly and fun. This immediately went to use as my girls insisted that I cook in it all day!

The little box Rylan is holding up is a fun Halloween craft box…it is a RoseArt Halloween Multicolor Finger Puppets Activity Pak and it was one of the quickest and easiest craft boxes that we have ever used. It’s perfect for Halloween parties or even for kid’s who will have a birthday in October. Plus it’s only $5.00 for six crafts!!

These gorgeous pumpkins were my absolute favorite. They are rich in color and so festive. I love that I will be able to leave them out past Halloween and enjoy them well into Thanksgiving. I plan on using them as centerpieces for our Thanksgiving family feast that is always held at our home. The one with the lights is beautiful at night. Starting at $6.00 they are an easy and inexpensive way to knock out decorating for two holidays!

This was another of our favorites. You can see by the color scheme that it definitely has a “Halloween” flare to it but the “Happy Harvest” words give you the option to use it for Thanksgiving too.  Remember to keep the box so you can store it for next  year too.

Now here’s Michele’s turn…..

Decorating for the Holidays in our home is a big deal. Almost every part of our house has decorations. When I was able to review Halloween decorations, I was excited, because I had one area on my desk that needed just a bit more. I had the pleasure of reviewing tinsel garland and a skull candle. 

The tinsel garland with bats was my favorite. It was about 12 feet white glittery with small black bats. It can be used indoor or outdoor and could have been used in so many places around my house. I’m now on the hunt for more to decorate next year.

I have a bit of an obsession with candles and this skull candle was so fun! It’s silver and a bit scary. It doesn’t put off a scent, but it is a great addition to our Halloween decorations.

These decorations are spooktacular and I love the funky look that these decorations added! While skulls are a bit scary…I was pleasantly surprised to see that my 2 year old wasn’t scared, he actually said, “Hello man!” If you are looking for a bit of spooky with some edge, these items are a must.

It’s “me” again….

As you can see…you CAN find everything at Target. If are like Michele and absolutely adore decorating for Halloween..you are going to find some amazing goodies at Target for your “spooktacular” event. If you are like me and love the feel and smell of the crisp fall air and want to bombard your home with pumpkins and fall decor then swing on over to Target.  You need it? They got it! It’s that simple and frankly, I love it!

Woohooo…Mama got a booty…and it looks gooood!

Well, ok at least that’s what my hubby thinks. But I think he might just be right because my new dENiZEN Jeans from Levi are awesome! Could possibly be the most comfortable pair of jeans I have owned in a long time. The dENiZEN brand made its debut in the U.S. at Target stores in July 2011. You should be so happy that they did.  You are going to love them.
