My two year old is really into board books. He loves the thick pages that he can turn himself and the colorful pictures with simple words designed just for kids like him! I especially appreciate books like Little One, God Made you Special, that have the rounded corners for extra protection for the littles!

Most important of all is the message. It’s a very important one that should be instilled in our young ones right from the start. Everyone was designed by God and is unique in their own way. There is no one else like them in the entire world. God made everyone special in their own way.

In this sweet boy, the simple message rhymes to drive the point home for toddlers who really perk up and pay attention with rhymes.

The illustrations are sweet with adorable animals depicting moms and their babies. Jax especially likes the illustrations and since he’s just learning to talk, he’ll go through and point out the animals and the sounds that they make. This book is a learning experience in more ways than one!

Little One, God Made you Special is one we love to read together over and over. I hope it’s a message he hears loud and clear and gets imprinted in his heart from this early age!
