February is all about hearts and love but not JUST because it’s Valentine’s Day! It’s also national heart health month! It’s time to think about your heart’s physical health and not just emotional!
I have to admit I was a bit ignorant on the subject until I did some reading up on heart health for this month and I was surprised and slightly alarmed by the statistics. Did you know that heart disease is the leading cause of death in both men and women? Me either! One in four deaths is attributed to heart disease. That is very disturbing, especially when it’s something that’s mostly preventable.
