Give the Magic of Learning This Christmas! #DisneyImagicademy #HolidayGiftGuide

rocket-builder-2

As with many children, Jax’s first character that he fell in love with was Mickey Mouse! As soon as he heard the opening line to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, he’d come running! We used to start it over and over again when we were in the other room just to see his cuteness come running in! When your kid loves something, it makes you love it, whether or not you used to! Mickey Mouse was his first love and continues to be one of his favorites.

He also loves things like airplanes and helicopters so when I saw the Disney Rocket Builder set from Imagicademy I knew it would be the perfect gift for him this Christmas! There are so many levels of fun and learning to this!

First of all, it comes with sets of parts in different primary colors. This is great for little ones like mine that will be learning colors soon. It also has different shapes that certain parts fit into which helps them work on shapes and problem solving.

This is one of those things that parents have just as much fun with as the kids. I played with the different colors and shapes to see how well they worked. They fit really easily into the correct place and stay in place solidly.

You can also combine the different colors. I did a red and green theme, for Christmas of course!

The little Mickey also says things and makes sound effects depending upon what you do with the rocket. It even comes with the batteries so you can play right away; a definite plus, especially on Christmas morning!

In addition to the toy itself there is an app you can download that goes with the rocket!

Since Jax is just a toddler, he probably won’t play with the app yet, although he’s already swiping on his siblings tablets so it won’t be long! I am going to have his brother work with him on the app to see all that it can do and when he’s ready, the possibilities for learning are endless!

I love that Disney has made such fun, functional toys that teach my kids through the characters that they love. The Imagicademy Kiddesign Rocket is going to make a great Christmas gift this year!
