This little toy camera Focus Pocus from Ambi Toys is adorable! My son thinks it is so funny! He looks through the hole to take a picture and pushes the button and the little man inside to camera pops forward, squeak! My son laughs! The Focus Pocus toy says it is for 18 month plus, so I guess you could say my son falls into the “plus.” He likes being a comedian, well I think he is a little comedian. He understands that using the Focus Pocus camera to take our picture makes us laugh, plus he thinks it is funny too which just adds to the cuteness of his whole act. I really like that this toy is made like a classic toy. The plastic quality and colors and the quality of the product overall is obvious. It is a toy that I cannot see breaking; it should last through lots of kiddos. It is made the way toys should be made! The button is large and easy for chubby toddler hands to push on their own. The string on the side just like a real camera is thick and durable as well and can easily be looped around little wrists or just held onto. If you are looking for a cute toy to give this Christmas that’s going to last, entertain and doesn’t require batteries (which I think gives it extra points) the Focus Pocus camera toy from Ambi Toys is it!
Point, shoot and… surprise! A funny clown pops out when the button is pressed. With a squeaker button and a see through viewfinder this ‘first camera’ will provide the child with hours of fun.Length 12.5cm –
Jax LOVES to bang on anything and everything so I figured, why not give him something he’s actually supposed to bang on? I’m hoping for a little containment that way! I know it’s probably wishful thinking but I figured the Pop up Pals with it’s own hammer would be worth a shot! Of course he went straight for the hammer so I had to slow him down and show him where he was supposed to be banging! At first he was banging on the top so I demonstrated how you hit the colors on the bottom to make the corresponding guy pop up. Once he did it right, he was absolutely delighted! The little smiley faces look genuinely happy to see you when they pop up! I love the primary colors that are perfect for learning and the fact that they CAN mix and match the colors or you can use it as an opportunity for teaching colors. I would tell him to put the yellow in the yellow and so on. Now he’s not quite two yet so he didn’t get it. But it’s a good introduction and I’m sure it’s just a matter of time until he does! This toy like the Focus Pocus camera is super durable and very well made. He can bang away all the live long day and it will survive. Put the Pop Up Pals down as another great toy for toddlers this year!
