When the Weather Outside is Frightful: Play Games! #BlueOrangeGames #HolidayGiftGuide

Our thanksgiving family tradition is to go camping. It’s a fun time to get away and just spend time together. We go on rides, play in the dirt and on windy days like today watch movies and play family games.

I like Blue Orange Games because they have such a good variety of games for all ages. Thanksgiving Day, appropriately we learned to play Gobblet Gobblers, a suped up version of Tic Tac Toe.

It’s for two players ages five and up so I played with my six year old daughter Paige to start. Each player is blue or orange and has three different sizes of Gobblers. Basically you play like tic Tac toe trying to get three in a row but with a major twist.

There are three different sizes that can be placed on top of each other. You could put your color down and the other person can come along and put theirs right on top of you and gobble you right up! This can make for an interesting game.

We spent the weekend playing this and both my kids really enjoyed it. Once I showed them how to play my older son that’s usually only into video games wanted to play with his sister. I always appreciate anything that gets him off the iPad! Even my toddler wanted to get in on the action, just to gobble things up!

This holiday season when kids have more toys then they know what to do with, games make a great game for the entire family and Gobblet Gobblers was a definite win for us!
