This ESV Journaling Bible has Everything you Need for Studying the Word! #Review & Giveaway

Many things to Propeller Consulting, LLC for providing this prize for the giveaway. Choice of winners and opinions are 100% my own and NOT influenced by monetary compensation. I did receive a sample of the product in exchange for this review and post.

When studying the Bible it’s so important to have the right tools! Sometimes I find myself armed with my Bible, a devotional, a journal, a pen and of course my coffee! It can be quite a lot of work but it shouldn’t have to be! When I saw that there was a Bible designed for journaling, I knew it was the one for me!

The ESV Journaling Bible is a great way for you to read, study and journal at the same time. It has columns on every single page to facilitate easy note taking right next to the scripture. There are two columns of the word and then a third column that’s blank except for the lines to write on. This eliminates all the margin note taking that I usually do, scribbled in wherever I can fit it. I also sometimes journal in a separate notebook but then it’s not as easy to refer back to.

The Bible itself is a beautiful hardcover which is always my preference for wear and tear. There is a pretty floral design and it has a soft velvety finish to it that makes it comfortable to hold. It also comes in a nice box to slide it back into for storage on the shelf and also makes a beautiful presentation for the perfect gift.

I like the introductions for each book of the Bible. Even after studying it my entire life I sometimes forget who wrote what book or what the main theme is.

The One-Year Bible reading plan also eliminates the need for another Bible just for that if you want to read it in a year. I really like this feature because I prefer to have just one Bible. My One Year Bible is divided by daily readings so can’t be used as a regular Bible as well.

The one drawback is that the print is rather small which makes it harder to read. The lines to write in are proportionately small so it’s a bit of an adjustment to print smaller.

The ESV Journaling Bible is a beautifully designed and wonderfully functional Bible, perfect for studying and note taking. It would make such a beautiful gift for the women in your life!
