My mornings are flat out, straight up crazy! With three kids; two to get ready for school and a one year old, mornings are hectic to say the very least! I have to pack lunches for my older two, check homework folders, get them dressed and fed and out the door. Somewhere in there I have to make sure my one year old is fed and lets not forget the dog. And me? Me who? Yes, I DO like to get some breakfast in me as well!
As much as I’d hate to admit it, convenience is key when it comes to breakfast. Unfortunately there aren’t a lot of healthy options to quick, convenient and good for you breakfasts! That’s why I was thrilled to be introduced to Honey Bunches of Oats Breakfast Biscuits!
When I first saw the packaging, I couldn’t figure out exactly what they were! They kind of look like a cookie and I’m not ashamed to admit I have might have sold them to a particularly picky child this way, and it worked! Why? Because they taste that good!
So exactly how healthy are they? Well you can see all the details under the product description below but the thing that jumped out to me was over 55% of your daily whole grains! That’s huge! All in just one serving.
Each box has five individually packaged bags of four biscuits. They really do have the consistency and taste of a cookie but less sweet so it’s perfect for breakfast. I personally love a little something sweet with my coffee in the morning so I am super excited to have something that’s sweet AND healthy!
My personal favorite is the strawberry but they also come in chocolate and honey flavors
Honey Bunches of Oats Breakfast Biscuits have made my mornings just a little bit easier. My entire family likes them, including the picky one, and since they are packaged so nicely we can even eat them on the go!
I have taken these along as my snacks I keep in the baby’s diaper bags for whenever we need a quick snack. He calls them cookies and I’m happy knowing he’s getting some extra nutrition.
We get tired of having the same old things for breakfast in the morning so the whole family is happy to have Honey Bunches of Oats Breakfast Biscuits as an option. It’s definitely become the number one requested and the fastest thing we run out of!
