Available Now for March National Nutrition Month The Rootlets: Super Rootabilities Book #Review and #Giveaway @TheRootlets #TheRootlets

My Thoughts

I don’t know about your kids but getting mine to eat their veggies is a HUGE challenge, especially with my oldest! At almost seven years old, Reed does NOT like veggies! He never has and maybe never will. We have tried everything to get this kid to eat them from adding flavors and sauces to blackmailing and punishing.

He’s finally at the age where we can talk to him about things like the importance of eating his veggies and he really gets it. He might not like it but he understands why he has to do it anyway.

March is National Nutrition Month and a great time to focus on this topic with your kids. The Rootlets are a great group of new characters that your kids will love who encourage and install healthy habits like eating veggies. Their first book Super Rootabilities is out now. If your kids are like mine and love fun characters and superheroes, they will really connect and relate to these guys!

The book is for ages 4 – 9 and and both my five and six year olds were interested in it. My six year old can read on his own now but since he’s still learning, I think this book was just a little too advanced for him to read cover to cover on his own. He gets tired from reading a lot so it had to be read in sections. Both kids loved the characters and the story.

The pictures are colorful and fun and on ever page to keep the really little ones engaged. Even my one year old sat with us while reading and pointed at the pictures.

The Rootlets are a great cast of characters that your little ones will love and right now you can enter to win a copy of their first book below in celebration of National Nutrition Month.
