Treat Your Doggie Right this Valentine’s Day! #ValentinesDay #Pets

My Thoughts

Odie is our newest “baby” and as with any little one, potty training is involved! I did a lot of research on it and while there were different methods, almost all suggested using treats as a reward system for going potty outside. I had no idea what to get since this was our first dog so it was the perfect opportunity to try out a bunch of different ones at once.

The first few we tried were from Merrick. We tried the Kitchen Bites variety: Turducken, Cowboy Cookou rand Brauts-N-Tots. When I say WE, I mean Odie tried them and I gave them to him!

IMG_7701Here is what I have discovered about Odie: he definitely prefers the taste of these All Natural treats to some of the others I have purchased at the store. Looking at the comparison chart between these and other brands, they were the only ones that were grain free and gluten free. He loved all three so I just alternate the different flavors when he gets a treat to mix it up.

The next treats we tried were from Organix, another great brand with all natural treats. These are actually dog cookies which I didn’t even know they made specifically for dogs! I’m learning!

IMG_7700The cookies Odie tried were Jerky Chip Cookies: Oatmeal & Beef and Oatmeal & Chicken. Once again, he loved them both! I thought it was cute how they were shaped like and looked like little cookies.

They look so much like cookies my one year old tried to eat them! They are probably healthier for him than his baby cookies but I still couldn’t bring myself to let him do it!

Odie has lots of treats to choose from when he’s deserving of one and likes all of the All Natural treats we’ve offered him! Any of these would be cute for all those dog lovers out there that get their pets treats for Valentine’s Day!
