When I was growing up my parents always stuffed stockings for me and my siblings. My Grandma had custom stockings made for each one of us, they were hand knit with our names on the top, a tree decorated with sequins on one side, and Santa’s face with a super soft fuzzy beard on the other. My parent’s still hang those stockings up on their mantle every year and I love to see them.
Oh, how I loved opening my stocking! It was always full of a mix of traditional items that we could expect to find every year, like a chocolate orange and M&M’s in a plastic candy cane, and fun trinkets. Stockings are a tradition that I have enjoyed doing for my daughter as well. It’s easy to stuff as stocking for a little kid, some candy, small toys and you’re done. It’s harder to stuff a stocking as your child grows up. My mom always did a great job stuffing a stocking full of things that a teen would enjoy, and while my daughter isn’t quite there yet, I thought I might share some ideas for an older girl’s stocking.
Candy is always appreciated, and warm fuzzy socks are too. My mom sometimes put lotion and perfume from my favorite mall store in my stocking. Make-up is a great stocking stuffer, and of course, if you are going to put make-up in, you need to include some brushes too.
I like the EcoTools Mini Essentials set. The brushes are so soft, and made from bamboo and recycled materials. The EcoTools Mini Essentials set includes three brushes, one for full powder, an eye shading brush for eye shadow, and an angled liner brush. As indicated in it’s name, it’s just the essentials and perfect to keep in your purse when you just need a quick freshening up!
It’s also the perfect size to fit inside a stocking, and sure to be a hit on Christmas morning! The EcoTools Mini Essentials set is great for all the women on your list this year!
The EcoTools® Mini Essentials Set is your on-the-go necessity. You can easily shade, finish and define with these 3 mini brushes! Start with the full powder brush to create a flawless base with pressed or mineral powder. Use the eye shading brush to apply shadow along eyelid and crease and highlight brow bone. Add final definition with the angled liner brush by using the ultra-flat angled tip to line your eye with cream liner or shadow.
