I finally finished my 21 Day Fix and I feel amazing! I have to tell you that this program was life changing – literally! I knew a couple of days in that I would never eat or exercise the same again.
With a baby that doesn’t sleep through the night all the time, I am basically exhausted every day. Just by changing my diet and working out thirty minutes a day, I feel incredible! I have energy even when I should be dragging based on the amount of sleep I get. Of course I still get tired but it’s nothing like the constant fatigue I felt before.

I took my measurements before I started and then today, a day after I finished. Here are my results:
Let me just break down the math for you. I lost 10.5 inches and 7.8 lbs! My goal was just to lose 5 lbs and while I knew I wanted to slim down, I didn’t have a specific number on the inches. Needless to say I surpassed what I wanted and what I expected!

Let me just preface this by saying, I hate taking pictures of myself! But I knew I had to if I wanted to visualize the results. I feel like they don’t show as much as I have changed in person but good enough to see a difference!
The 21 Day Fix was an amazing experience. So amazing, in fact, that I’m going to do it all over again! This time though I’m going to do a few things differently.
My Mistakes/True Confessions
I need to plan my meals better. Going a day or two ahead of time is not enough. It really can be the difference in success.
This time I’m not going to cheat. Yes, I cheated! I got some Lemonheads to review and polished off a couple of boxes of those. Then I bought my kids Candy Corn and well, you know how that goes! Once you have “just one” it’s hard to stop. Other than that I did pretty good and really stuck to it but I still felt disappointed in myself for not doing it 100%.
Next time I want to do my workouts, including Abs, every day! This time I missed three days. One day I was sick and did nothing. Another day I did a four mile walk so technically I did work out but didn’t do the DVD’s. The third day I was camping and didn’t have access to DVD’s but I definitely still got a workout!
I only did the Ab workouts sometimes, on days I felt ok to do it or “had time.” Big mistake. This time I want to do them every day. Yes…every…single…day!
The worst thing that happened was one of my DVD’s disappeared in my house! So week three, I had to repeat the same DVD twice so I feel like I didn’t get the full effect.
If I got these results in spite of my mistakes and mis-steps, imagine what you could do!
I believe so much in Beachbody and the 21 Day Fix that I have decided to become a Coach! What does that mean?
