My Thoughts

Cooking is not my forte. I don’t enjoy it but it is a must when raising a family. I get stuck in the boring routine of making the same meals every week. My husband is so sweet and is just thankful for a meal so it doesn’t bother him. However, it bothers ME! I want to become, not only a better cook, but a healthier cook. Turbocharged Recipes offers over 400 recipes! The recipes range from dips and appetizers to full blown meals containing chicken and fish. Most of these recipes only take 30 minutes to prepare so it is perfect for a mom who is always on the go.
The recipes are geared to help rev your metabolism and eat lean snacks, desserts, meals, or appetizers. One recipe my family enjoyed is the Salsa Dip. It was simple to make and went great with tortilla chips. It was a mixture of cream cheese, sour cream, cheese, and salsa. My boys (who are picky eaters) even enjoyed adding this dip to their chips.
I often need ideas for potlucks. I struggle to find something quick and easy to make, but with this book I feel like I have struck gold! I can flip through this book and find something easy to make and I know it will be a hit at any party. I am so excited to try out more recipes.
