Wisk Deep Clean was recently awarded Product of the Year in the laundry category!
The photo below reveals what the amount of hidden body oils and sweat in our clothes could actually look like compared to the average visible stains. Just because you don’t see any stains on your garments, doesn’t mean they’re not dirty…
Visible stains are just the beginning – even after washing, some detergents can leave behind hidden body oils and sweat that get trapped deep in the fabric of your clothes and build up over time. The average wash-load has 20 times more hidden body oils and sweat than visible stains. Body oils and sweat are no longer about collared shirts- they are everywhere from work attire to casual jeans and gym clothes.
New Wisk Deep Clean goes beyond surface stains, penetrating deep inside fabric with patented Micro-Cleaners to attack and help remove hidden body oils and sweat that some other detergents can leave behind.* Now, that’s a truly deep clean!

(Stains in the photo are colored for illustration purposes only. Based on approximately 7.7 loads of laundry per week.).
My Thoughts
Ewww!
I hate ring-around-the-collar. My husband has to wear a white dress shirt everyday to work and that seems to be an inevitable problem but the dirt goes even deeper! According to Wisk… body oils and sweat can stay hidden and trapped within the fiber of the clothes (even after washing!!).
Oh my! That does not work for the germaphobe that I am. Hey I’m not sure if that’s a real word or not but I know you know what I mean. Germs are gross…especially if I am wearing them.
I have two active little girls and with the summer’s crazy temperatures…there are times my house or car doesn’t smell too great and I can only blame us. Boys may sweat and girls may glisten but it’s still dirt on our clothes.
While I’m adamant about having clean clothes…I found some interesting fact from Wisk that were worth sharing and the “ewww” effect of it all is really priceless.
Top Common Laundry Behaviors Include:
- Going more than a month without changing bed sheets; in fact, only half of consumers wash their sheets once a week.
- Taking dirty items out of the laundry basket to wear, with more women then men admitting to this activity
- Nearly one in three women admit to wearing the same bra for several days in a row, while close to one in three men admit to having worn the same socks or underwear for several days
You don’t have to admit if you happen to have one of these “so called” behaviors or perhaps a very different but gross um, I mean interesting one… but you probably need to give the New Wisk Deep Clean Laundry Detergent a try if you do.
Wisk Deep Clean is available in different sizes and 5 different formulas including one for HE machines and with Oxi-clean (that’s my favorite).
Whether I’m washing gorgeous, expensive, white dress shirts for my husband, my own personal necessities or lived-in and loved play clothes for The IE Twins…I know I will be confidently getting the dirt out (all the way out) with New Wisk Deep Clean.
