My Thoughts

I received a beaded pull-style medical ID bracelet that I was excited to give to my daughter to wear. My 7 year old daughter has a rare genetic disorder, CCHS (congenital central hyperventilation syndrome) that causes her to stop breathing when she falls asleep. During the day she looks like any healthy kid, but at night we place her on a ventilator and monitors. It is important that my daughter wear a medical ID bracelet at all times. The blue beaded medical ID bracelet was definitely cute and different, but it didn’t tend to stay put on my fidgety daughter. She had much more fun pulling it apart and playing with it than just wearing it. I suspect if she were a bit older it would have been a better fit for her. Overall I was happy with the bracelet and think it’s a very cute alternative to the regular metal bracelet she usually wears.
