Gaggle of Chicks – Where Moms Flock for Great Deals (review)

So….what exactly is a “gaggle”? Well, by definition a gaggle means: “A group of geese when they are on the ground or on the water; Any group or gathering of related things; bunch”. But, what is a Gaggle of Chicks? Oh well, I will definitely tell you. It’s a super cool, amazing website that allows you to capture some great deals. The catch? Well, each deal needs a certain number of people (moms) who will commit to the deal before it “hatches” and each deal is only offered for a limited time. Some deals require 3 moms… others may require more.

Now, initially I was unimpressed with a Gaggle of Chicks and thought perhaps this is a review that I wouldn’t be able to do. There wasn’t any deals that I was excited about and nothing that I really wanted to spend my gift certificate on…but as they say…”Wait for it…” and I did!

So, so, so happy that I did. My gift certificate doubled in shopping value due to the Gaggle of Chicks insanely great deals. Let me tell you what I am talking about.

Deal #1 - I had to snag the great deal from Vinyl Attraction as soon as I saw their Romance Collection. Vinyl Attraction offered Gaggle of Chicks a 50% off deal! For the purchase price of $14.99 I was able to get $30 worth of products. I purchased two of these deals which means that I had $60 dollars available to me and only paid $30.00 (actually less because when you sign up with Gaggle of Chicks you receive a $5.00 credit added to your account!). The photo on the top right is the gorgeous wording that I ordered from Vinyl Attraction thanks to the Gaggle of Chicks deal. I had a bit of money left over so I also ordered a few Sticky Art pieces to add to the IE Twins’ bathroom.

Deal #2 - As soon as I saw this. I just knew that it was something I had to get for the IE Daddy and the IE Twins. They were “i like books”. Basically a journal style book. You enter information on why you like that person and what makes them special according to the questions and prompts inside the book. I am very sentimental when it comes to my family and feel there is no better time to tell them how much I love them then right now! The i like books generally cost $19.95 each but with the Gaggle of Chicks deal…I purchased 3 at $12.00 each. Pretty sweet, huh? They have books for individuals and couples. My hope is that they arrive before Christmas so I can put them in their stockings.
