What Does The IE Mommy Think?:

Zedena Designs are beautiful, unique and elegant pieces of Jewelry. Jewelry has long had a very special part of my heart…not just for the glitz, glamour and bling of it all. Mind you that definitely makes me smile…But for as long as I can remember I have been attracted to quality, well designed and constructed pieces.  I enjoy learning how jewelry is made, molded and created from one generally comes from the ground (i.e. diamonds, gold, etc) to sensational creations! At one time I want to be a gemologist. It is still a career that makes my heart beat a little faster when I think of it.

I found a treasure when I discovered Zedena Designs I was blown away by the quality and craftsmanship in the pictures of her website.  When I received my gorgeous Baby Autumn Tree- Enamel Necklace* I could not believe the delicate, intricate design….simply beautiful.

I love the concept and philosophy of Zedena Designs…each piece uniquely crafted and loved before delivering to the consumer.   In addition to my Baby Autumn Tree the beautiful Heart of Glass Enamel Necklace (below) is gorgeous. I will have to drop hints to the IE Daddy about that one.

When I look at the Baby Autumn Tree I think of two things…one the legacy an individual leaves behind…you know as in a “Family Tree” and the other is the “Tree of Life” as in the Bible.  You might look at it and see something completely different but that is what makes Zedena Designs so special…they are quality pieces of jewelry that will “speak to you”. They will tell you a story and tell others “your” story.

A Little About Zedena Designs:

Ever since I was a young girl my love for jewelry was apparent. My grandmother Zedena and I used to play Home Shopping Network together which consisted of me raiding her jewelry box and then “selling” her my favorite pieces.

My designing days began when my grandmother, Barbara brought home some multi-colored telephone wire which I used to wrap into rings and bracelets. My designs have evolved since then to include enamel, copper, sterling and fine silver, genuine Swarovski crystals, and semi-precious stones.

In addition to the work here for sale I also do custom work for Brides and Bridal Parties or any special occasion. Just convo me and we can discuss the options available.

I am a Rio Grande Certified PMC Artisan and have also studied traditional metalsmithing, enameling, lampworking, and fused glass. I am a member of the PMC Guild and the San Diego Gem and Mineral Society.
