WHAT DOES THE IE MOMMY THINK?:

Yum, Yum, Yum. Oh man! Mexican food. Delicious salsa, Free Kid’s meals and huge Mondo Burritos! YES!!

I really like Mexican food…okay maybe I even love Mexican food. But I definitely jumped at the chance to give Taco Del Mar a taste. I was so excited to find that I actually have two locations within 30 miles from where I live. They even have a location in Maui, Hawaii! How’s that for rockin’! You know you have a cool restaurant if you are in Maui!

I was sent a few coupons for the Mondo Burritos and they are big burritos…easily shared between myself and the IE Twins…right now they have some fantasmic promotions…check these out:

Taco Del Mar is widely recognized for their Fish Tacos but I am not a big fish eater so I went for the Mondo Burritos! With your choice of Carne Asada, Ground Beef, Shredded Beef, Seasoned Pork, Braised Chicken or Fish…you are bound to be happy! My mouth waters just thinking of the options and the scrumptious Pico De Gallo. If you are not in the mood for a Mondo Burrito then you can try the tacos, enchiladas, taco salad or quesadillas!

So what was my favorite thing about Taco Del Mar? First, I love the “make your own” concept! I know Burger King first initiated the “have it your way” concept but I am spoiled. I like having it my way…for instance as much as I love chicken I don’t like it in Mexican food. It just doesn’t seem right to this Hispanic California Girl…it needs to be beef! When it comes to salsa I am a big wimp…I mean BIG! But I love cheese and lots of it on my burrito. When I was at Taco Del Mar…I was able to have it just like that! Just the way I wanted it. No questions asked. Delicious, fresh and made for me.
